Role Description
This position allows for Remote work to allow a flexible work environment. To be considered for the role, you must permanently reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or West Virginia.
The Epic Analyst-Pharmacist with a focus in CDS (Clinical Decision Support), Willow, and Beacon applications, partners with the application team while working collaboratively with our customers to bring cutting-edge technology and automated solutions to the department.

Implement and maintain EHR systems and databases to ensure optimum performance and exceptional outcomes for employees and patients.

Manage or perform work associated with the analysis, design, implementation, operation, deployment, and support of the organization’s information technology resources in application specialty.

Interface with all areas of Information Technology Services to ensure project success from development to implementation with the ultimate outcome of customer satisfaction.

Assist with design and perform builds that are appropriate for users’ needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization’s information systems architecture.

Complete appropriate localized build for the EHR and pharmacy systems.

Perform project management for Pharmacy technology initiatives by developing, managing, and driving accountability to meet established goals and deadlines.

Develop, implement, maintain, and communicate effective and reliable downtime processes.

Participate in cross-functional projects and provide design information crossing applications.

Effectively communicate risks and issues, while providing status updates.
Epic Willow Inpatient Certification and experience preferred.
Qualifications

Current licensure with the State Board of Pharmacy in the state in which residing and working.

Certification in job relevant Epic module(s).

Successful Epic certification(s) completion required within 60 days of final training.
Requirements

Three to six years hospital pharmacy experience.

Thorough knowledge of the inpatient environment and clinic-based operations, procedures/functions, and the relationships between them and the hospital.

Understanding of the integration of applications and their impact on business processes and operations.

Demonstrated innovative forward thinking, able to meet project deadlines, deliver on commitments, possess high level of energy and professional acumen, and be client service oriented.

Knowledge of physician practice/healthcare professional services, billing requirements, hospital administration and/or processes.

Ability to communicate on a professional level with physicians, nurses, and other professional staff when discussing drugs and drug-related problems.

Ability to work at a high technical level on all phases of application systems analysis, workflow analysis, build, design, testing, interface knowledge, and programming activities.
Education/training
-
Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. Degree.
Preferred Education/training
-
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an accredited academic program.
