Role Description
This position supports application analysis. Under the direction and support of the EMR Manager, participates in customer support, user training, and health information data verification/entry. Performs ongoing system testing to ensure accurate/optimal functioning. Participates in EMR training, documentation entry, and implementation during mergers. Liaises with internal and external stakeholders as needed. This role often includes travel, tight deadlines, and when necessary, long hours.

Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant healthcare information regulations, along with organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Degree in Health, IT, Education or related field preferred.

Valid state Driverβs License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings. Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required.

Minimum two (2) years clinical oncology experience preferred.

Minimum two (2) years managing PHI (protected health data) or clinical office skills preferred.
Requirements

Working understanding of oncology healthcare needs and previous skill with maintenance of healthcare records.

Developed interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, diplomacy, tact, conflict management, and diversity awareness.

Good command of the English language. Effective communication skills (oral, written, presentation), is an active listener, and effectively provides balanced feedback.
