[Hiring] EEG Technologist @MPOWERHealth

Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented EEG Technologist to join our team. This role involves real-time remote monitoring of EEG, EMU, LTM, and sEEG studies (up to 4 concurrent studies), as well as occasional on-site responsibilities such as patient unhooking at the conclusion of EEG studies.

Key Responsibilities

• Remotely monitor EEG, EMU, LTM, and sEEG studies in real-time.
• Perform routine EEG procedures across various modalities.
• Unhook patients at the conclusion of EEG studies as needed.
• Accurately recognize and differentiate normal and abnormal EEG patterns across neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations.
• Document patient seizure semiology with precision.
• Maintain professional communication with patients and medical staff.
• Operate and troubleshoot EEG equipment and other major systems (Cadwell, Nihon Kohden, Xltek, etc.).
• Work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (GED) or higher.
• A minimum of 1-year experience in the field.
• Must be ABRET board-certified R.EEGT (CLTM preferred).
• Working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology as it relates to EEG.
• Must have a secure HIPAA compliant workspace that is free from unauthorized viewing.
• Must have a reliable internet connection and backup.
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts.
• Must be able to operate, store, and maintain EEG equipment as necessary.
• Must maintain an appropriate supply inventory sufficient to conduct multiple EEG setups if necessary.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

• Must be able to move and lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to stand, kneel, and stoop as needed.
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
• Must be able to type at least 45 words per minute for the purposes of data entry.
