Role Description
The EEG Set Up Technician (EEGT) performs in-home diagnostic testing on patients, which generates reports for physician interpretations. Responsibilities include:

Proper, accurate placement of electrodes on the patient, taking precautions against skin breakdown.

Educating patients on the process and putting them at ease.

Setting up all EEG equipment and cameras to ensure safety and accuracy of readings.

Setting up EKG testing if ordered by the physician.

Properly disconnecting all equipment at the conclusion of the study.

Cleaning, disinfecting, and storing company equipment.
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
-
Registered EEG Tech credentialing by the Board of Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologists through ABRET and/or Joint Commission experience is a plus.

Superior customer service skills with the ability to establish rapport.

Ability to travel up to 95%, including out of state and overnight travel.

Able to work effectively and efficiently with minimal direct supervision.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Ability to react calmly in emergency situations.

Able to make appropriate and timely decisions.

Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
Requirements

Current driver license with valid insurance.

CPR certified.

Strong attention to detail and flexibility with schedule.
