Role Description
The Director, Eating Disorders Program serves as the organizational leader for Compass's Eating Disorder specialty, providing strategic direction, clinical oversight, and operational partnership to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care across all locations. This role is instrumental in shaping the future of the service line, driving its growth, innovation, quality, and long-term sustainability through clinical excellence, workforce development, business planning, and expansion into new markets.
What You'll Do:

Program Design & Development:

Serve as the clinical owner for the Eating Disorder service line, providing strategic direction and partnering with executive, operational, and physician leadership.

Lead the development, implementation, and continuous refinement of the Eating Disorder clinical model.

Collaborate with program leaders to establish, standardize, and continuously improve clinical processes.

Provide clinical consultation, coaching, supervision, and direct clinical services as needed.

Clinical Quality & Staff Support:

Support the development and implementation of clinical onboarding, competency standards, training curricula, and ongoing professional development.

Monitor program quality through fidelity reviews, measurement-based care, patient outcomes, operational metrics, and stakeholder feedback.

Ensure program design, curriculum, and clinical practices comply with organizational policies and accreditation standards.

Business Strategy & Service Line Growth:

Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Eating Disorder service line.

Evaluate market trends, emerging evidence, payer needs, and patient demand.

Partner with Finance and Operations departments to develop business cases for new programs.

Monitor key performance indicators to inform strategic planning and service line performance.

Organizational Leadership & External Partnerships:

Represent the Eating Disorder specialty in strategic planning initiatives and organizational growth efforts.

Partner with Marketing and Outreach to strengthen referral pathways and develop educational content.

Build and maintain collaborative relationships with referral partners and community providers.

Identify opportunities for innovation, research, and publication.
Qualifications

Excellent time management.

Knowledge/experience of Eating Disorder Treatment utilizing CBT, DBT, ACT, and MI clinical models.

Ability to juggle multiple demands simultaneously in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Expertise in Eating Disorder treatment with evidence-based models.

Licensed Doctorate Level Psychologist or a masterβs Level Clinician.

Minimum 7 years clinical behavioral health experience with children, adolescents, or adults.

Minimum 5 years clinical supervisory/leadership experience in mental health settings.

Experience with patients in crisis.

Experience with program development.

Experience with staff training and public speaking.

Experience interviewing and hiring.

Clinical experience conducting intakes, assessments, individual, family, and group experience.
