Role Description

Sentara Medical Group is seeking to hire an individual to join our team as a Direct Care Registered Nurse-Primary Care in Norfolk, VA.

• Position Location: Virginia Remote
• Position Status: Full-time, Days
• Standard Working Hours: 40 hours weekly

The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing, including:

• Assessment
• Diagnosis
• Outcomes identification
• Planning
• Implementation
• Coordination of care
• Teaching and health promotion
• Evaluation

The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) Diploma OR
• Registered Nurse (RN) Associate’s OR
• Registered Nurse (RN) Bachelor’s OR
• Registered Nurse (RN) Master’s

Requirements

• Registered Nurse License (RN) Single State-NC or VA or Multi-State (VADHP)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within 90 days of hire
• Registered Nurse BSN/MSN (Preferred)
• Phlebotomy experience (Preferred)
