Role Description

This position is for TEMP EAST CENTRAL HEALTH DISTRICT EMPLOYEES ONLY. NO OTHER APPLICANTS WILL BE REFERRED. This position is Remote only. If relocating to the area, please specify on the application.

As a Remote Nutritionist / Dietitian within East Central Public Health District, you will join a dedicated group of public health professionals that help support the overall mission and vision of protecting lives of Georgian residents in a variety of ways.

• Provide nutrition services to clients in the WIC Program as assigned.
• Complete nutrition screening, assessment, and education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in dietetics, human nutrition, foods and nutrition, nutrition education, food systems management or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
• Verification statement of completion of a didactic program accredited by The Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics.

Requirements

• Current State employees are subject to State Personnel Board rules regarding salary.
• DPH accepts educational credentials recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE).
• The candidate selected for this position may be subject to pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check.
