Role Description
MindCare Solutions is seeking Licensed Mental Health Providers (LCSW, LPC, LMHC) who are interested in partnering with a growing organization that values collaboration and a strong team-oriented culture, working within a correctional setting.

Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including intake screenings, risk evaluations, and diagnostic evaluations for incarcerated individuals.

Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.

Provide individual and group therapy services, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, adjusting interventions as clinically appropriate.

Perform crisis intervention, including suicide risk assessments, safety planning, and emergency response.

Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with facility, state, and federal guidelines.

Collaborate with medical staff, correctional officers, and other stakeholders to ensure coordinated and safe patient care.

Participate in treatment team meetings, case reviews, and discharge/reentry planning.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, policies, and procedures, including those specific to correctional healthcare.

Provide psychoeducation to patients regarding mental health conditions, coping strategies, and medication adherence (as applicable).

Support continuity of care by coordinating with community providers upon release.

Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to safety protocols within the correctional environment.
Qualifications

Active, unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Provider (LCSW, LPC, LMHP) in California.

Masterβs degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.

Minimum of 1β2 years of clinical experience (correctional, forensic, or inpatient experience preferred).

Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Experience conducting assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.

Knowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment, including suicide prevention.

Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a secure environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to pass required background checks and meet all facility credentialing requirements.
