Role Description
Abode, one of the largest and effective nonprofits working to end homelessness in the Bay Area, is seeking a Temporary Clinical Supervisor to assist with our service and Cal Aim programs in Solano and Napa Counties. This is a temporary contract position with an anticipated duration of 3β6 months, with potential for extension based on organizational needs.
The Clinical Supervisor (Licensed as LCSWs, LMFTs, LPNs, LVNs, RNs, PAs, NPs, and CNSs) will provide clinical leadership, support, and oversight to the Enhanced Care Management team. The team will engage, house, and provide wrap-around clinical services to the chronically homeless, vulnerable individuals who have Serious Mental Health Disorders, Substance Use Disorders, and/or Chronic Health Conditions.
Qualifications

Licensed as LCSWs, LMFTs, LPNs, LVNs, RNs, PAs, NPs, and CNSs.

Experience with targeted case management and familiarity with CalAIM billing preferred.

2 yearsβ experience post licensure providing clinical supervision to staff.

5 years supervisory experience in community mental health or co-occurring program.

2 years of field experience working with people with serious mental illness, individuals with co-occurring disorders, complex health issues and/or the chronically homeless population.

Basic knowledge and understanding of applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings.

Excellent verbal & written communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Experience working within an Assertive Community Treatment program or similar.

Understanding of the following evidence-based practices: Housing First, Motivational Interviewing, Harm Reduction, and Psychosocial Rehabilitation required.

Experienced in effectively intervening and/or supporting staff in crisis situations, with de-escalation techniques.

Experience, understanding and ability to implement theories of biological, psychological, and social development.

Mastery of Medi-Cal charting, strong skills completing assessments and treatment plans.

Experience with Utilization Reviews and overseeing Clinical Quality Reviews.

Ability to work well independently and collaboratively with teams.

Understand and practice cultural sensitivity through open dialogue and self-exploration with diverse groups, while providing direct services.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, systems, and platforms.

Ability to learn and use required mobile devices and business-related applications.

Outstanding communication skills and high degree of emotional intelligence, cultural humility, with a proven track record to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide variety of internal and external contacts.
Benefits

Hourly rate: $50.48β$64.90, depending on experience.

Temporary, fully remote, part-time role: 20β25 hours per week based on organizational needs, with an anticipated duration of approximately 3β6 months.
