Role Description

As a per diem Staff Pharmacist you’ll play a vital role in delivering safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy services. This is a hands-on opportunity to make a direct impact by ensuring the accuracy of medication orders, verifying technician-prepared products, and safeguarding controlled substances. You’ll contribute to a high-performing team by:

• Mentoring new staff
• Maintaining seamless daily operations
• Supporting the Director in optimizing pharmacy performance

Pharmacy Location:

Located within Cumberland Hall Hospital, 270 Walton Way, Hopkinsville, KY 42240

Hours of Operation:

Monday - Friday from 7:30am to 4pm as needed - weekend on call (typically remote)

If you are located in Louisville, KY, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Fill in for Pharmacist during PTO or sick time
• Oversee Pharmacy Technicians

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree (PharmD preferred)
• KY state pharmacist license in good standing
• 1+ years of recent pharmacist experience (hospital setting preferred)
• Skilled with pharmacy systems and Microsoft Office

The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.09 to $78.70 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
