[Hiring] Clinical Services Specialist @School of EMS

Role Description

The Clinical Services Specialist is responsible for assisting the Clinical Services Manager and team in maintaining clinical/field internship scheduling of students and onboarding procedures.

• Generate, update, and maintain student clinical/field internship scheduling.
• Assist with clinical agreements acquisition.
• Audit all forms required to qualify for clinical/field internship time.
• Onboard students into Clinical/Field sites.
• Assist with operational timekeeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in an administrative setting.
• Functional computer literacy.
• Functional working knowledge of Office365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Experience with multi-faceted network related software and database management systems.
• Experience multi-tasking with the ability to manage competing demands, set priorities and provide timely responses to urgent issues.
• Experience problem-solving and recommending improvement.
• Experience adapting to new conditions and assignments.
• Experience in customer service building strong relationships to be able to interact with students, staff and the public in a pleasant, tactful, courteous manner.
• Experience working independently.

Requirements

• Associate degree (AS/AA) from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Scheduling (rooms, events, shifts, etc.) experience is preferred.
• Experience working remotely is preferred.

Skills and Abilities

• Language Ability: Must exhibit the ability to read, analyze, and interpret education-related material. Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence and the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
• Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures as they relate to teaching certain topics within the EMS curriculum.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions in different formats. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience in the use of audio-visual equipment.
