[Hiring] Clinical Research Coordinator III @Florida Cancer Specialists

Role Description

This is a float position supporting all research clinics in the state of Florida.

• Responsible for the performance of the research study under the medical supervision of the Principal Investigator and the research director.
• The research coordinator is responsible for the overall successful implementation and ongoing site management of the research studies.
• May be responsible for providing coverage in clinics when research staff are out of the office.
• Precepting new research staff in clinics.
• Assisting with research projects assigned by the Senior Clinical Research Coordinator III.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of one-year oncology or clinical research experience, or a minimum of five years of combined clinical oncology and clinical research experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Strong patient advocates.
• Available to travel to investigators meetings.
• Valid Driver’s License in the state of residency for travel to clinics.

Requirements

• Must comply with the Company’s Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check policy.
• Background, drug, and nicotine screens are required.
• All new hires must receive various vaccinations, including the influenza vaccine, barring an approved exemption.
• FCS is a drug-free workplace; all new hires will be subject to drug/nicotine testing.
• Medical Marijuana cards are not recognized.
