Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to support managed care pharmacy services in a remote setting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in medication therapy management, prior authorization review, utilization management, formulary support, and evidence-based clinical decision-making.

Provide Medication Therapy Management (MTM) services and identify medication-related issues.

Review pharmacy and medical claims for clinical appropriateness and safety.

Conduct prior authorization reviews, drug utilization reviews (DUR), and appeals.

Develop patient-specific medication action plans to improve outcomes.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and healthcare teams.

Participate in Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) Committee activities and policy development.

Support population health and disease management initiatives.

Monitor and evaluate clinical outcomes of pharmacy interventions.

Provide evidence-based drug information and recommendations.

Assist with formulary management, medication policies, and utilization programs.

Participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Educate providers, staff, and members on medication-related topics.

Support managed care operations and pharmacy program initiatives.
Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required.

Active Pharmacist License in Oregon, Washington, or California required.

Completion of PGY-1 Residency required.

Minimum 3 years of managed care pharmacy experience required.

Experience with prior authorization reviews, appeals, and utilization management.

Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacology, therapeutics, and evidence-based medicine.

Experience with pharmacy claims systems and data analysis tools.

Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.
