[Hiring] Clinical Dietitian @Behavioral Nutrition

Role Description

Behavioral Nutrition is an eating disorder clinic providing outstanding outpatient services with a team of licensed dietitians. Our clinic specializes in the treatment of binge eating disorder and associated medical nutrition therapy needs (i.e. diabetes, metabolic syndrome, heart disease).

Candidates are expected to have experience working with adolescents and adults for individual medical nutrition counseling. Candidates with experience in the treatment of eating disorders, obesity, and diabetes management is preferred.

• Provide high quality, compassionate and ethical outpatient medical nutrition therapy to clients as scheduled
• Complete clinical documentation
• Maintain required client contact
• Actively participate as a positive member of the team environment
• Maintain good standing with the appropriate professional board entities
• Complete and maintain all required continuing education requirements for specific licensure and specializations
• Stay current with updated research and best practices
• Maintain up to date case files within electronic health record (EHR) system
• Maintain contact with and consulting medical providers, with third parties and collateral contacts when appropriate

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of family systems and their impact on nutrition and eating habits
• Certification in Diabetes Management a plus
• Clinical skills in motivational interviewing for behavior modification and meal plan adherence
• Working knowledge of eating disorder treatment standard of care
• Skills in working with binge eating population, body image dissatisfaction, and obesity

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Dietitians & Nutritionists: 1 year (Required)
• Registered Dietitian
• Must be licensed in the state of Massachusetts

Schedule

Role can be worked from home or if available to come to clinic 1 day a week (not required) in addition to remote hours (work from home according to your desired schedule). Our clinic is located at 1266 Furnace Brook Pkwy, Suite 404 Quincy, MA 02169). Flexible part time per diem hours can be worked.
