[Hiring] Clinical Applications Specialist @GE HealthCare

Role Description

As a Clinical Applications Specialist for the Verisound Digital team, you will play a critical role in supporting the ViewPoint reporting software throughout the sales process and during project implementation. This position focuses on ViewPoint within Cardiovascular, Women’s Health, General Imaging, and Point of Care ultrasound environments.

Your responsibilities will span diverse ultrasound segments, requiring adaptability and expertise across specialties. This is a travel-heavy position, with possible work locations across the United States and Canada.

• Sales support to include remote product demonstrations, direct Sales Specialist assistance, and direct customer assistance
• Use market and product knowledge to assist sales team in developing sales, marketing, and customer service strategies
• Preparation and planning of project training and support
• Deliver onsite product training to the clinical end users in a manner that ensures customer success
• Develop and deliver consistent and professional remote product training via MS Teams/Zoom
• Actively participate in new software release testing as required
• Assist in developing product training materials/deliverables in conjunction with the ViewPoint Academy
• Communicate with fellow Regional Applications Specialists and Regional Product Sales Specialists
• Utilize software tools to document activities and maintain quality and compliance standards
• Energize team and maintain adherence of defined processes

Qualifications

• Experience performing ultrasound across multiple clinical specialties
• Minimum of 5 years clinical ultrasound experience with ARDMS, RDCS, or CCI certification, or at least 3 years commercial ultrasound applications experience
• Willingness and ability to travel 70-80% of the time
• Proven ability to work independently and productively
• Willingness to annually maintain active clinical certification/registries
• Must comply with GE HealthCare’s standard background check, including a post-offer drug test

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of the ViewPoint software
• Proven success as a patient-focused, team-oriented clinician
• Strong presentation skills (public speaking and lecture experience desired)
• Proven professional business acumen
• Self-motivated and willing to demonstrate initiative
• Willingness to be flexible and able to adapt to changing work environments
• Clinical experience in large hospital/university settings
• Experience on current GE Ultrasound products
• Experience using Smartsheet, Salesforce, and Office 365
