[Hiring] Clinical Application Specialist @Insightec

Role Description

Support MRgFUS neurosurgical clinical programs in Exablate centers, including:

• Training, communicating, and guiding a broad level of clinical personnel in the actions and functions of the Neuro Exablate system.
• Participating in treatments of clinical brain indications, demonstrating expertise in all aspects of the technology.
• Reviewing and analyzing treatment results, developing updates for treatment techniques, and quality assurance methods.
• Supporting techno-clinical and scientific activities and assisting with defining specifications for new generations of existing products and new indications.
• Working within a cross-functional regional pole with INSIGHTEC account, business, and service employees to optimize the lifecycle of Exablate Centers.
• Domestic and international traveling of at least 60% of the time, with periodic weekend and night work, and potential overnight travel.
• Working according to Insightec Quality Policy, relevant Quality Procedures & Standards, and privacy & safety rules.
• Performing other related activities, as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science equivalent or higher in a biomedical science, biomedical imaging field, biomedical engineering, neuroscience.
• Ability to work autonomously and professionally in a remote office setting as well as in a hospital setting.
• Ability to perform well under pressure.
• Ability to lecture in front of a large audience.
• Full proficiency in the English language, with the ability to express themselves well to customers and colleagues both speaking and in written form and to teach in English.
• Fast learner and creative thinker; able to find optimal techno-clinical solutions to first-time-seen problems.
• Ability to work with scientific customers, clinical personnel, and other company employees in an international environment.
• Committed to addressing customer needs and achieving company/team goals and deadlines.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with MR imaging, Neuroanatomy, Neurosurgery, and/or Movement Disorders.
• Working proficiency in two additional European languages. Preferred languages: German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, French.
• Living in proximity to a major European Airport in Germany, The Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, or Finland.
