Role Description
This position is Part Time Remote must be in the New Jersey area (South). Will work 12:00AM to 8:00AM.

Provide remote/in-person MA support to provide vitals, assist with patientsβ questions, and order bloodwork scripts for clinicians.

Responsible for maintaining EHR database, registration of patients, printing/uploading documents for visits, and ensuring patients complete them.

After visits, ensure scanning and uploading of documents into the EHR program as needed.

Handle all Cooper 365 phone matters.

Provide both remote check-in/out and MA services in the Cooper365 model.

Complete ALL recertifications, referrals, and prior authorizations in a timely manner.

Process record requests through MRO, handling all new patient contracts and questions as needed.

Process and/or print incoming faxes through OnBase/fax and route to provider for signatures or information.

Maintain working knowledge of regulatory standards and ensure these standards are sustained in daily operations.

Provide information to patients to help them fully utilize and benefit from clinical services.

Must have excellent time management, leadership aptitude, and organizational skills.

Work independently and demonstrate excellent listening and communication skills.

Handle customer complaints independently and assist clinicians with patient escalations.

Experience with EHR, computer skills, knowledge of patient scheduling and scheduling templates.

Must be compassionate and establish effective relationships.

Knowledge of medical terminology required.

Experience with hospital outpatient registration.

This role is for Cooper 365 24/7 and must be flexible, willing to work 12-hour shifts and holidays.
Qualifications

3-5 yearsβ experience in customer service.

Requirements

High School Diploma.

Medical Assistant Certification Required.

BLS American Heart Association certification.

Excellent analytical skills and computer literacy.

Ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
