Role Description
This position is remote and overnight. Hours are 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM or 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Must be local to Camden, NJ area and able to attend a few weeks of training in person for 2-3 weeks. Must be a certified medical assistant.

Subject matter expert for Cooper 365 customer service and Primary Care Services.

Ensures access to care within the Cooper Integrated Specialist Network.

Liaison for clinicians; works with patients to check in/out and schedule appointments.

Involved in clinical and administrative areas, assisting clinicians with patient care.

Handles clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks.

Provides remote/in-person MA support, including vitals and patient questions.

Responsible for maintaining EHR database, patient registration, and document management.

Handles all Cooper 365 phone matters.

Responsible for remote check-in/out and MA services in the Cooper365 model.

Completes all recertifications, referrals, and prior authorizations timely.

Processes record requests and new patient contracts.

Responsible for processing and printing incoming faxes through OnBase/fax.

Provides information to patients to fully utilize clinical services.

Maintains knowledge of regulatory standards and sustains these in daily operations.

Excellent time management, leadership aptitude, and organizational skills required.

Must work independently with excellent listening and communication skills.

Handles customer complaints and assists clinicians with patient escalations.

Experience with EHR, computer skills, and knowledge of patient scheduling required.

Compassionate and able to establish effective relationships.

Knowledge of medical terminology required.

Experience with hospital outpatient registration.

Flexible to work 12-hour shifts and holidays.
Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in customer service.

High School Diploma.

Graduate of Medical Assistant Program.

Medical Assistant Certification Required.
