Role Description

Jefferson Healthcare is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Diagnostic Imaging team as a full-time remote Care Team Specialist II. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with both patients and healthcare professionals. This role is a communication liaison between the medical care team and our patients.

• Responsible for processing referrals in an accurate and timely manner.
• Handle insurance authorizations.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and registering arriving patients.
• Answer patient calls and schedule appointments.
• Collect insurance and co-pay information.
• Maintain waiting room areas.

Schedule: 1.0 FTE; 40 hours/week; Day Shift

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Two years of related experience in medical group office or other related experience required.
• Experience or education providing basic knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Must stay current in knowledge base and meet Hospital-mandated education requirements.
• Epic experience preferred.
