[Hiring] Care Assistant @Caremark North Norfolk and Great Yarmouth

Role Description

To assist clients who need help getting up and going to bed in the morning and evenings, including:

• Dressing and undressing
• Washing and bathing
• Going to the toilet

To help clients with their mobility and with any physical disabilities, including:

• Incontinence
• Use of personal aids and equipment

• To care for clients who are temporarily sick and need bed nursing and help with feeding.
• To provide care and support for clients who are terminally ill.
• To help in the promotion of mental and physical activities of clients through:
• Talking
• Outings
• Reading
• Writing
• Hobbies and recreations
• To make and change beds, light cleaning, emptying commodes, and general tidying.
• To inspect, launder, and mend clients’ clothes.
• To set tables and trays, prepare and serve light meals, clearing away and washing up.
• To read and write reports and be involved in clients’ reviews and training activities.
• To adhere to all Caremark’s policies and procedures at all times.
• To report any significant changes in the health or circumstances of a client to the Field Care Supervisor or Care Manager.
• To encourage the independence of clients wherever possible.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence
• Access to your own vehicle
• Kindness, reliability, and a genuine desire to help others

Requirements

• Ability to understand and implement care plans effectively.
• Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Basic IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Company Description

We are currently hiring part-time Care Assistants across Great Yarmouth and the surrounding villages. Full training is provided, so whether you have previous care experience or are completely new to the sector, we will support you every step of the way.
