Role Description

The Billing & Coding Support Associate is responsible for entering payments within an EMR system and generating invoices to be sent to the patient. Will also handle in-bound and out-bound calls, and work patient aged receivables.

• Reconciles cash batches from Reception and Dispensary departments.
• Collect, post, and manage patient account payments.
• Prepare and review patient statements.
• Review delinquent accounts and contact patients for collection purposes.
• Answer questions regarding account balances.
• Process payments from insurance companies.
• Verifies/Updates patient contact information & mailing address.
• Maintain strict confidentiality.
• Adhere to all HIPAA rules and regulations.

Qualifications

• Official High School Transcripts, Diploma or Equivalency Certificate
• Ability to navigate between different tabs and systems on the computer.

Requirements

• This position is remote, and the candidate must live in Illinois.
• Must have a dedicated workspace within your home.
• Must pass a Wi-Fi speed test.
