[Hiring] Bilingual Physician Assistant @Oscar Health

Role Description

Hi, we're Oscar Medical Group. We're hiring fluent Spanish speaking Physician Assistants to join our remote Virtual Health Assessment team. Oscar Medical Group runs a Virtual Health Assessment (VHA) program that outreaches and virtually engages Oscar Health Insurance members in an evaluation and management visit. You may also be cross-trained to help support teams across Oscar Medical Group, including Virtual Urgent Care.

You will report into the Director, Virtual Health Assessment.

Hours:

• Full-time 5-day (8-hour) schedules
• Day and evening shifts available (ranging from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM)
• Specific shift choices and lunch breaks will be selected during the application process

Pay Transparency:

• The base pay for this role is: $116,400 - $145,500 per year
• You are also eligible for employee benefits, annual vacation grant of up to 18 days per year and annual performance bonuses

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for patients in a virtual setting
• Use prescriptive authority as part of a collaborative practice agreement, consulting and partnering with Physicians on the care team for comprehensive care, particularly with complex patients
• Follow up on labs, imaging, and closed loop communication with patients and other providers
• Use tooling to allow virtual "exams" including remote home monitoring equipment, remote physical exam, remote point of care diagnostics
• Participate in collaborative care model with multiple care team members including registered nurses, medical assistants, PCPs, behavioral health clinicians, and clinical supervisor where applicable
• Participate in required meetings to support patient care including huddles, case conferencing and regular service line All Hands
• Provide feedback to support improvement in operational workflows and product features
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA from accredited program
• Board Certification (NCCPA or AANP or ANCC)
• 3+ years experience in outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care
• 2+ years of experience delivering virtual care
• Licensed in a minimum of 2 core Oscar States:
• Must have FL License
• Preferred: TX and/or GA Licenses
• Demonstrated fluency in written and spoken Spanish

Bonus Points

• Compact RN license (if an APRN)
• Experience working with remote diagnostic and home monitoring tools
• Able and willing to obtain additional licensure in Oscar Medical Group states
