Role Description

We are seeking a Behavioral Health RN to join a non-profit organization located in Jericho, NY. This 1099 contract role serves as a Behavioral Health Subject Matter Expert, providing clinical expertise in the development of resources and identification of best practices around evidence-based guidelines to identify and treat tobacco use disorder (TUD). This position is ideal for an experienced RN with a strong behavioral health background and a passion for quality improvement and public health initiatives.

• Location: Jericho, NY (90% remote)
• Employment Type: Part-time, 1099 contract (14 hours/week)
• Rate: $55.00/hour
• Contract term of 52 weeks (1 year), contingent on continued funding and satisfactory performance, with potential for extension

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a behavioral health field or equivalent
• Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in New York State
• At least three (3) years of experience working on behavioral health-related projects
• Experience in quality improvement preferred
• Proficiency in developing resources, identifying best practices, and contributing to report writing and deliverables
• Strong clinical expertise in behavioral health and tobacco use disorder
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with project leads and team members
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Requirements

• Report to the Program Lead / Health Information Technology Subject Matter Expert
• Provide subject matter expertise in the development of resources and identification of best practices around the use of evidence-based guidelines to identify and treat tobacco use disorder
• Assist with content for report writing and deliverables, and other activities as needed
