Role Description

The Remote Behavioral Health Coordinator (BHC) is the front line of communication between the client, therapist, and the Behavioral Health Department. Responsibilities include:

• Scheduling patient appointments
• Answering questions or providing general information
• Directing clients to appropriate staff or departments for specific information
• Maintaining and updating patients’ charts by gathering appropriate information from clients and therapists
• Protecting clients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information
• Supporting CHP’s mission, vision, and values
• Adhering to compliance protocols and CHP’s policies and procedures
