Role Description

Under the direction of Assistant Program Manager, the Autism Psychology Fellow will provide clinical services, including assessments of children and adolescents referred for suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Additionally, the Autism Psychology Fellow will develop telehealth-based assessments for residents of Hawaiʻi’s rural and underserved communities.

Location: MUST RESIDE in Hawaii, 100% Remote. This is a part-time position, 20 hours per week. Monday & Friday 8am-4pm.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology from an accredited college or university or equivalent; eligible for license to practice in the state of Hawaiʻi.
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with other faculty members, investigators, biostatisticians, students and/or assistants.
• At least one (1) year prior experience in assessment of children and adolescents.
• One (1) year of experience implementing culturally-based interventions with Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander populations.
• Experience working with diverse ethnic populations (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to teach behavioral health students (preferred).
• 2 or more years of experience working with Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander populations (preferred).
