Role Description

Collaborating with the coding and clinical team members and external clients, including content creation if necessary.

Performing audit tasks of medical record coding, documentation, compliance, and DRG assignment.

Participating in relevant corporate programs/initiatives and ensuring professional, quality, and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties and complying with corporate policies and procedures while acting in a manner consistent with Solventum's values and ethical standards.
Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse license with a bachelorβs degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) AND seven (7) years of Nursing experience AND five (5) years of experience in the inpatient acute care setting.

OR High School Diploma/GED AND eleven (11) years of experience in the inpatient acute care setting.

Strong knowledge of auditing practices, ICD 10, PCS guidelines, quality initiatives, and MS-DRG and APR DRG methodologies.

Strong clinical knowledge and application to coding.

CCDS, CCS, or CDIP with seven (7) years of clinical documentation experience as an auditor / DRG validator.

Ability to travel up to 25%.
Requirements

Master's degree in nursing, or other healthcare clinical background (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.

Experience with telecommuting, working with EMRs and other electronic tools with current chart auditing skills.

Knowledgeable in Solventum HIS software portfolio (360 Encompass).

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office programs.

Excellent verbal, written, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills.

Expected compensation range for this position is $107,600 - $147,950, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
