[Hiring] Website Marketing Manager @SimplePractice

1wk ago - SimplePractice is hiring a remote Website Marketing Manager. πŸ’Έ Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 usd πŸ“Location: USA

Role Description

We're looking for a Website Marketing Manager to lead three core areas of our Web Marketing team:

  • AI-powered chatbot experience
  • Go-to-market campaign program
  • Team operations

You'll own chatbot and GTM campaign strategy for the website, testing roadmaps, technical execution, and performance KPIs, while also leading the team's operational cadence β€” keeping priorities clear, projects on track, and stakeholders aligned. Working closely with Paid Media, Product Marketing, Engineering, and Design, you'll drive results across your programs and help the team execute effectively.

This role sits at the intersection of AI-driven customer experience and fast-moving campaign execution, and is a strong fit for someone who wants real ownership over an emerging surface rather than incremental production work.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in website management, digital marketing, or growth marketing, ideally including campaign or lifecycle-stage ownership.
  • Demonstrated experience owning projects end-to-end, strategy, execution, and optimization, not just production.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools, using LLMs for content generation and prototyping, building automations or workflows, and/or working with AI-assisted build or chat platforms (e.g., Decagon, Intercom Fin, or similar).
  • Experience with Notion (our primary project/process tool) or comparable platforms (Asana, Linear).
  • Experience with CMS platforms such as Builder.io, Contentful, Webflow, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of web analytics (Google Analytics, Mixpanel) and A/B testing methodology.
  • Proven ability to translate high-level marketing or product goals into detailed, technical web requirements.
  • General understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and SEO fundamentals.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, this role works closely with Paid Media, Product, and Engineering stakeholders.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable owning a KPI, not just a task list.

Requirements

  • Own the day-to-day quality and performance of our AI chatbot experience, including auditing live conversations and maintaining/improving its underlying configuration.
  • Run an ongoing testing program covering chat placement, proactive messaging, page-specific behavior, and overall conversational tone and flow.
  • Partner with Product and Support to ensure the chatbot experience reflects accurate, up-to-date information and continuously improves conversion and user satisfaction.
  • Own strategy, build, and optimization for go-to-market campaigns tied to major feature and add-on launches, as well as site-wide marketing moments (e.g., seasonal campaigns, awareness days).
  • Lead the launch and maintenance of a new website changelog, and own the in-product "What's New" experience, ensuring customers are consistently informed of new features and capabilities.
  • Drive in-product promotion of new features and add-ons to existing customers, with a direct focus on improving add-on attach rate.
  • Execute campaign-driven updates to core pages (e.g., pricing, feature pages) as part of a launch, in coordination with the Core Website Testing owner when an active test is running on that page.
  • Keep the website current and accurate as new features ship β€” new pages, feature/add-on landing pages, and related updates.
  • Convert conceptual designs and strategic requirements into fully functional, responsive web pages using our CMS (Builder.io), leaning on AI-assisted build tools and reusable design system components to build efficiently rather than through manual, net-new builds.
  • Draft detailed engineering requirement documents and conduct thorough reviews for larger builds or custom functionality, partnering with Engineering to keep more complex work in their hands rather than in bespoke CMS code.
  • Identify opportunities to shift build and production work toward Engineering and AI-assisted workflows over time, in service of a leaner, more maintainable site.
  • Support ongoing design system cleanup and consolidation to reduce duplicative components and make reuse-over-net-new builds practical across the team.
  • Own the operational cadence for the Web Marketing team β€” leading sprint planning, managing project boards (Notion), sending meeting invites, and proactively coordinating with Engineering and Design partners to keep priorities clear and work moving.
  • Manage day-to-day project management for all owned campaigns and the Decagon roadmap, ensuring timely delivery and clear stakeholder communication.
  • Act as the team's operational fallback: when AI-assisted tools and automations don't fully cover a gap, step in to keep projects on track, unblock stakeholders, and drive clarity on ownership and timelines.
  • Continuously look for ways to automate or streamline operational overhead (status updates, intake, prioritization) so the team spends less time on process and more on strategy and execution.
  • Serve as default owner for miscellaneous web requests (e.g., SEO pages, lifecycle marketing landing pages), prioritizing this work during lower-volume stretches between major campaigns.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Paid Media, Engineering, and Web Design to align campaign timing and chat experience decisions with broader company priorities.
  • Routinely analyze performance data (Google Analytics, Mixpanel) to inform testing priorities and apply learnings to continuously optimize owned channels.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for workflow automation and process efficiency, leveraging tools like n8n, Zapier, Notion, LLMs, and other emerging AI tools.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurance
  • 401(k) plan with company match
  • Flexible Time Off (FTO), wellbeing days, paid holidays, and summer Fridays
  • Mental health resources
  • Paid parental leave & Backup Care
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
