[Hiring] Vice President of Marketing @Madison Collective

Role Description

A well-established accounting and financial services firm dedicated to independent grocers and restaurant operators is looking for a Vice President of Marketing to shape how its brand is seen across both industries. This is a hands-on leadership role for a marketer who can sharpen positioning, create content that earns attention, and turn deep industry knowledge into visibility, qualified pipeline, and revenue. You will partner closely with executive leadership and the sales team to reach owners, operators, and finance leaders in grocery and restaurant organizations.

• Own brand strategy and positioning, keeping messaging consistent across every channel
• Grow the firm's voice as a thought leader through PR, awards, speaking opportunities, and partnerships
• Lead content, from case studies, newsletters, and webinars to video, podcasts, and social, built around real client results
• Run digital marketing, including website, SEO/AEO, email, LinkedIn, paid media, and marketing automation
• Build relationships with grocery, restaurant, and foodservice associations, publications, and conferences, and select the right events and sponsorships
• Partner with Sales on an integrated demand generation plan and a measurable funnel from awareness to conversion
• Set goals, KPIs, and budget, report on performance, and invest where results are strongest
• Stay close to the work, personally driving day-to-day campaigns, content, and programs

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including senior leadership
• Proven record of building brand awareness for a company, product, or professional services firm
• Experience leading integrated B2B marketing that generates qualified leads and measurable revenue
• Working knowledge of content, digital, SEO/AEO, social, email, events, PR, and demand generation
• Experience managing budgets, agencies, vendors, and internal teams
• Ability to turn complex services into clear, compelling messages
• Strong writer and presenter with a data-driven approach
• Entrepreneurial, equally comfortable setting strategy and executing the details

Preferred Experience

• Marketing background in professional services, accounting, financial services, SaaS, grocery, restaurant, hospitality, or foodservice
• Track record of building a brand from scratch or significantly elevating an existing one
