Role Description

Occibo (occibo [.] com) is SaaS from IndieKidz - An AI platform that helps creators turn a manuscript into a fully illustrated children’s book. You will research and document how books move from manuscript to publishing and help translate that into product features.

This internship supports marketing and audience growth for children’s books and publishing projects. The role suits students studying publishing, literature, communications, marketing, or related fields who want hands-on exposure to book marketing, audience building, and digital promotion.

  • Support marketing campaigns for children’s books and publishing projects
  • Research target audiences such as parents, teachers, schools, and book communities
  • Assist in preparing social media posts and promotional content for books
  • Help identify relevant blogs, reviewers, and online reading communities
  • Support simple SEO tasks such as keyword research and improving article titles, descriptions, and content structure
  • Assist with basic marketing automation such as email newsletters, campaign scheduling, and audience segmentation
  • Track marketing experiments, engagement metrics, and campaign results
  • Assist with outreach to reviewers, bloggers, and educators
  • Help prepare promotional materials for book launches and campaigns
  • Research children’s publishing trends, competing titles, and reader interests

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in BA or MA program in Publishing, Literature, Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • Strong written English and other EU languages
  • Interest in children’s books, storytelling, and publishing
  • Ability to research and organize information
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms
  • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly
