Role Description
We are looking for a technically-minded Marketing Developer to bridge the gap between high-level marketing strategy and technical execution. Unlike a traditional product-focused engineering role, you will sit directly within the Marketing Team. Your primary mission is to empower the marketing department by turning ideas; SEO strategies, conversion experiments, and automation workflows into functional reality on our website.
Work set-up:
Remote
Work Schedule:
Early Morning Shift (Regular 9 hours per day, Monday to Friday)
Work Hours:
4:00 AM - 1:00 PM Philippine Time (aligned with New Zealand business hours).
What you’ll do
-
CMS upgrade and management:
Create new and update existing modules. Create automations to reduce time to update content site-wide. Find opportunities to implement content changes pragmatically in CMS.
-
Job board optimisation:
Enhance the user experience and improve overall job board performance, ensuring a smoother experience for users and higher organic traffic, leading to better conversion rates.
-
SEO & GEO Optimisation:
Executing technical SEO audits, restructuring URL routing patterns (e.g., evolving dynamic routes for better indexing), implementing schema markup (JSON-LD), and managing sitemaps and metadata.
-
CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation):
Deploying CRO tests across different audiences and regions.
-
Data Collection & Analytics:
Implementing tracking scripts and working with data team to ensure we are collecting clean and actionable data to improve marketing performance.
Qualifications
-
Next.js & React:
Deep expertise is required. You should be comfortable with dynamic routing, App/Pages Router, and server-side rendering (SSR) vs. static site generation (SSG).
-
TypeScript:
Ability to maintain a robust, typed codebase.
-
Strapi (v4/v5):
Experience building/modifying content types, managing the media library, and consuming the REST API.
-

Experience fetching, transforming, and rendering data from external sources (e.g., Salesforce job feeds).
-
Tailwind CSS:
Proficiency in utility-first styling to maintain a consistent, responsive UI.
-
Technical SEO:
Hands-on experience with canonical tags, the Metadata API, and performance optimisation (Core Web Vitals).
Soft Skills
-
The "Translator" Ability:
You must be able to explain complex technical concepts and limitations to non-technical stakeholders in a way that is clear, actionable, and jargon-free.
-
Solution-Focused "Can-Do" Attitude:
We want a builder who looks at a marketing challenge and says, "Here is how we can make that work," rather than listing reasons why it can't.
-
Marketing Fluency:
You don't just write code; you understand why we are doing it. You care about conversion rates, bounce rates, and user intent.
-
Proactive Problem Solver:
You identify technical debt or performance bottlenecks before they impact our marketing campaigns.
Nice to Have (not required skills, but would be an added advantage)
-
Salesforce Awareness:
Understanding how data flows from a CRM into a web frontend.
-
Node.js:
Basic understanding of the runtime that powers our CMS.
