Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Dir Digital Marketing - Agency, to lead and optimize website development projects, microsite builds, and digital agency initiatives. This role requires deep expertise in SEO, SEM, CRM integrations, and ensuring that client websites are built for performance, conversion, and great user experiences.

  • Oversee WordPress and Webflow builds
  • Manage site performance metrics
  • Drive CRM integrations
  • Support content publications
  • Lead the adoption of AI-powered site builders, form builders, and conversion and A/B testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and customer success
  • Deliver high-performing digital solutions that align with client needs
  • Ensure websites, microsites, and integrations exceed client NPS scores and TTV (time to value) expectations

Key Responsibilities

  • Website and Microsite Development
    • Lead and oversee the design and development of WordPress and Webflow sites
    • Own strategic direction of creative in the form of site design, site templates, features, etc.
    • Guide clients through website and microsite creation, from initial strategy and wireframing to launch and performance optimization
    • Drive innovation in site builder technology, including AI-powered website solutions
  • Site Performance & Optimization
    • Own client portal metrics, including page speed, bounce rate, conversion rate, average session time, error rate, and uptime
    • Implement SEO strategies to improve organic rankings and drive inbound traffic
    • Develop and execute SEM initiatives, optimizing paid search strategies for lead generation
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with media to improve website usability and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
    • Utilize web performance monitoring tools to proactively identify and address issues impacting website performance
  • CRM & Custom Development
    • Oversee CRM integrations, ensuring websites seamlessly connect with HubSpot, Salesforce, or other client systems
    • Lead initiatives in form builder technology, enabling clients to create user-friendly, high-converting forms for lead capture
    • Manage the implementation of AI-driven site builders and ensure their effectiveness in streamlining website builds
  • Product Management Responsibilities
    • Work with sales, customer success, onboarding, and marketing teams to define requirements and prioritize web development initiatives
    • Stay ahead of industry trends in website technology, AI-powered solutions, and digital marketing best practices
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client goals

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in website development, SEO, SEM, and digital operations, preferably in an agency or digital services environment
  • Proven ability to lead website and microsite builds, particularly in WordPress and Webflow
  • Experience optimizing site performance metrics, including page speed, conversion rates, and uptime
  • Strong expertise in SEO strategy, including technical SEO, content performance, and link-building
  • Familiarity with SEM and paid search optimization strategies
  • Hands-on experience with CRM integrations (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and custom development initiatives
  • Experience working with AI-powered site and form builders is a plus

Technical Expertise

  • Proficiency in WordPress, Webflow, and modern site builder tools
  • Deep knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and other SEO tools
  • Strong understanding of web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on SEO and performance
  • Experience with form builders and conversion optimization tools

Where

The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely.
