Role Description
This role involves managing social media content and engaging with our online community.
- Planning, preparing, and publishing content across social media platforms (X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Keeping up with trends on Japanese social media and ensuring our content stays relevant
- Monitoring and engaging with our online community - responding to comments, messages, and mentions
- Contributing to campaign planning and the creative process - researching industry trends and suggesting opportunities for engagement
- Preparing insights for major campaigns - researching competitors, trends, and influencers, identifying collaboration opportunities
- Localization from English to Japanese
- Collaborating closely with the marketing team to execute campaigns effectively
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of marketing experience
- Fluent Japanese (N1) and solid English (B2)
- Hands-on experience with social media management (ideally X, TikTok, and Instagram)
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Passion for marketing - staying on top of social media trends and eager to learn
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and handle ad hoc tasks
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Creativity and fresh ideas
Requirements
- Bonus points if you’re familiar with Google Analytics, Meta Business
- Design tools like Canva or Photoshop
