Role Description
We're seeking a dynamic and design-savvy Social Media Intern to manage and grow our presence across various platforms, with a special focus on design-specific channels. This role is perfect for someone who breathes social media, understands the design industry, and can create engaging content that resonates with designers and startups alike.
- Create and manage content calendars for multiple brands across various platforms including Dribbble, Behance, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Instagram, and design-specific channels like Layers
- Develop engaging, design-focused content that showcases our work and attracts both designers and potential clients
- Grow our following and engagement on design-specific platforms
- Monitor trends in the design industry and incorporate them into our social media strategy
- Engage with our community, respond to comments, and foster discussions
- Analyze social media metrics and provide regular performance reports
- Collaborate with our design team to create visually stunning social media assets
- Assist in developing social media campaigns to promote our services
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially those popular in the design community
- Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design tools like Figma, Photoshop, or Canva
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative mindset with an eye for visually appealing content
- Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools
- Familiarity with the design industry, current trends, and key players
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
Requirements
- Access to a computer and reliable internet connection
- Available to work 20-30 hours per week
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Enthusiasm for learning and growing in a fast-paced startup environment
