[Hiring] Social Media Manager @Atlas

Role Description

We're looking for a Social Media Manager to grow Atlas's organic presence and build real community across our channels, from everyday brand content to the stories that make Atlas recognizable, including our Atlas Index research and press moments.

The goal is to build trust and authority for the Atlas brand – making us a name people recognize and rely on, and as a potential source for customer acquisition. You'll partner closely with our lifecycle and brand marketing team, and you'll use AI tools to drive efficiency and output.

This is a part-time, remote role (approx. 15–20 hrs/week, flexible).

What you'll do

• Own organic social strategy and execution:
• Run the day-to-day content calendar, voice, and posting cadence across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X.
• Leverage AI to scale:
• Use AI tools to speed up content ideation, drafting, and reporting so more gets shipped, while keeping content on brand and authentic.
• Bring our story to social:
• Turn Atlas Index research, press coverage, and member stories into posts and short-form video people actually want to watch.
• Build real community:
• Respond to comments and DMs, monitor conversation, and represent Atlas's voice in every interaction.
• Continuous experimentation:
• Test formats, hooks, and cadence, using engagement and growth data to continuously optimize what we post.
• Partner cross-functionally:
• Work closely with top of funnel marketing to keep messaging consistent and on-brand.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing organic social for a brand
• A proven track record of growing engagement and community across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and/or X
• Strong, adaptable writing; comfortable shifting voice across platforms while staying on-brand
• Comfort working with basic performance data to inform what to post next
• Crisp written communication; high agency; low ego; bias to action, customer obsession

Requirements

• Fintech or consumer finance experience – bonus points if you've worked on credit, lending, or other consumer financial products
• Hands-on content creation skills (short-form video editing, basic graphic design)
• Familiarity with social scheduling/analytics tools (e.g. StatusBrew, Sprout, Hootsuite, native platform analytics)
• Comfortable leveraging AI tools as a daily multiplier – for ideation, drafting, and reporting
• A strong self-starter mindset – adaptable and comfortable owning a channel independently with light oversight
