[Hiring] Social Media Manager @Biossance

Role Description

We are looking for a creative, science-curious, and data-driven Social Media Manager to lead our digital presence. You will be the voice of Biossance across Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest, translating complex biotechnology into digestible, "shelfie-worthy" content. This role is perfect for a storyteller who understands the intersection of clean beauty, sustainability, and high-performance results.

• Develop and execute a monthly content calendar that highlights our "Squalane-First" approach, new product launches, and sustainability milestones.
• Oversee daily posting and community engagement on Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook.
• Stay ahead of beauty trends (like "skin streaming") and cultural shifts to ensure Biossance remains a thought leader in the clean beauty space.
• Build meaningful relationships with our "Clean Crew" community by responding to comments, DMs, and fostering user-generated content (UGC).
• Work closely with our lab and education teams to turn clinical results and ingredient lists into engaging, educational videos and graphics.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (engagement rate, reach, and conversion) to optimize content performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in social media management, preferably within the beauty, wellness, or CPG industries.
• Ability to create or curate high-quality visual content that aligns with our clean, clinical-yet-luxurious brand identity.
• You can explain why sugarcane-derived squalane is a breakthrough in 15 seconds or less.
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar video editing tools.
• A genuine interest in clean beauty standards and environmental conservation.
• The ability to thrive in a fully remote environment with excellent time management and communication skills.
