Role Description

We're looking for someone who has cracked the code on virality — and has the receipts to prove it. You'll be the Octant brand online: starting trends, shaping conversations, and keeping us top of mind across crypto, Ethereum, and the broader cultural moment.

Octant is growing Ethereum. At a time when people are bearish on crypto — and on Ethereum specifically — we're working to change that. Octant sits at the forefront of tools, products, mechanisms, and research that lead to a more sustainable, thriving ecosystem. Through our funding, some of Ethereum's most impactful projects have found the resources to succeed. We believe Ethereum is the path to a more open, accessible world. Our mission is to fund, research, and build the rails that make that a reality.

The task ahead is audacious. We're up for it. We're looking for people who are exceptional at execution, experimentation, and results — and ambitious enough to help us build the future of Ethereum.

What You'll Own

• Trend capture: You see the cultural moment forming before it peaks. You know how to insert Octant into it in a way that feels native, not forced.
• Hype creation: You launch campaigns that generate outsized attention — not because you had the biggest budget, but because you had the sharpest idea. The most viral things come from creativity, grit, and finesse, not spend.
• Campaign execution: You develop, plan, and execute on X and LinkedIn — building campaigns that draw attention and leave a lasting impression. You've studied what McDonald's and Wendy's did, what Duolingo pulled off, what Pudgy Penguins built — and you have your own playbook.
• Community voice: You make our social presence relevant, entertaining, and sharp. You don't just grow numbers — you build a following that actually gives a damn.

Qualifications

• A proven track record of viral campaigns or large-scale stunts — we care more about trajectory than tenure, but we need to see you've done it.
• A deep feel for cultural trends and sharp taste for what captures public attention.
• Autonomous, execution-first energy — you get things done.
• Exceptional creativity paired with strong project management.
• A genuine point of view on Ethereum, crypto, and where the ecosystem is going.
