[Hiring] Social Media Coordinator @Players Pins

Role Description

Are you a creative and highly organized individual with a deep understanding of social media platforms and a passion for sports and collectibles? Players Pins, a rapidly growing sports collectibles brand, is seeking a dynamic Social Media Coordinator to elevate our brand presence, engage our community, and drive awareness for our unique, patent-pending collectible sports pins. You will be instrumental in crafting compelling content, managing our social channels, and fostering meaningful connections with our audience.

This role will report directly to the Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

• Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content across Players Pins' social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) to grow our audience and drive engagement.
• Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and opportunities to participate and amplify brand messaging.
• Engage with our online community, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive and interactive brand experience.
• Assist in the planning and execution of social media campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities.
• Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
• Collaborate with the marketing, creative, and sales teams to ensure consistent brand voice and integrated messaging.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
• Assist with content creation, including graphic design, video editing, and copywriting, as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1+ years of experience managing social media for a brand or organization.
• Proven understanding of major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, YouTube) and their respective analytics tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to craft engaging copy and interact with diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficiency with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
• Proactive, creative, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• A genuine passion for sports, collectibles, pop culture, or fashion.

Requirements

• Compensation: $30,000 - $40,000. Competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Players Pins is a small company that has revamped the tired sport pins of the past with a new patent pending collectible product. The company was founded in San Diego in 2022.

• Clients include 60+ professional sports: San Diego Padres, Texas Rangers, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bulls, Cincinnati Reds, Anaheim Ducks, Vancouver Canucks, Vegas Golden Knights, Brooklyn Nets, NY Mets, Dallas Mavericks, LA Kings, Sacramento Kings, and many more.
• Currently holds the NBA, NBPA, CLC licenses.
