[Hiring] Social Marketer @HTC America

Role Description

HTC is hiring Social Marketers, KOLs, and Influencers to drive awareness and engagement for an upcoming global marketing initiative. You’ll create compelling content, develop social campaigns, and engage communities across your region, helping generate awareness, conversation, and demand.

• Plan and produce original social content (short-form video, photos, reviews, unboxings, live streams, posts) featuring the product across platforms relevant to your region — e.g., TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Bilibili, Douyin, Weibo, LINE, Twitch.
• Publish to your own channels and/or HTC's regional channels on an agreed content calendar.
• Execute launch-week and post-launch campaigns: teasers, reveal-day coverage, feature deep dives, comparisons, and use-case stories.
• Engage with your community: reply to comments, answer product questions, and surface feedback to our team.
• Identify and coordinate with other creators, communities, and media in your region to extend reach.
• Adapt global messaging so it resonates locally — language, cultural references, platform norms.
• Track performance (reach, engagement, click-through, conversions) and report weekly with insights and recommendations.
• Follow brand guidelines, embargo dates, and disclosure/advertising regulations in your market.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a content creator, social media marketer, KOL, or influencer, with a track record of launch or product campaigns.
• Links to your primary social channels.
• 2–3 examples of product or launch content you've created (tech preferred).
• An engaged, authentic following in tech, consumer electronics, gadgets, gaming, productivity, lifestyle, or a closely related niche (e.g., 20K+ followers on at least one primary platform — quality of engagement matters more than raw size).
• Strong on-camera presence and content production skills (shooting, editing, captioning) — you can ship polished content quickly and independently.
• Deep familiarity with the platforms and creator culture in your market.
• Comfortable working to tight deadlines and embargoes during a live launch.
• Understanding of FTC/ASA/local disclosure rules and paid-partnership requirements.
• Genuine interest in hardware and consumer tech; you can explain features clearly and honestly to a non-expert audience.
• Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a global business environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with product reviews or hands-on tech content.
• Existing relationships with tech media, communities, or other creators in your region.
• Experience with paid social, affiliate links, or performance tracking tools.
