[Hiring] SEO Specialist @CNX

Role Description

As SEO Specialist for NDDC you will build a center of excellence around organic growth strategies for Nike digital Mexico. Continually monitor industry trends and identify new digital opportunities to fill the gaps that could drive organic growth.

• Proven experience in Organic Search either agency or digital native side. Active, hands-on channel execution is required.
• Proven experience working cross-functionally with digital marketing specialists, analysts, or agencies in a collaborative team-based environment is preferred.
• Ability to write clearly and quickly, present ideas in an organized and coherent manner, and stand up to challenges from Organic Search specialists, brand managers, corporate communications, and digital agencies.
• Analytically minded, comfortable manipulating and analyzing large amounts of data to make actionable recommendations.
• Understand and recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve non-paid results for target keywords in search engines.
• Audit and analyze website crawl data to identify site issues and recommend fixes.
• Drive the experimentation and implementation of solutions at scale to improve organic traffic performance for websites and apps.
• Conduct regular audits of owned and competitor digital properties to ensure best practices are followed.
• Drive the organic growth content strategy for Mexico, consumer direct marketing, and digital product stakeholders across Mexico, APLA, and Global.
• Advanced knowledge of key measurement SEO tools, e.g., Botify.
• Ability to perform click-through rate, conversion, spend, and creative analysis to identify growth/optimization opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clearly visible SEO experience either agency or client-side. Active, hands-on optimization experience is required.
• 2 years of experience working with SEO specialists, analysts, or agencies in a collaborative team-based environment is preferred.
• Unique balance of disciplined strategic thinking, creative passion, and a willingness to be hands-on while ensuring goals are met.
• Experience articulating and communicating the impact of Technical Structure, Design & Aesthetics, Content, Navigation, Information Architecture, Branding/Marketing, Performance, Functionality, and eCommerce on SEO.
• Experience using a CMS and understanding its impact on SEO is preferred.
• Paid search management experience is a plus, with a core understanding of how SEO and SEM work together.
• Social media strategic awareness is essential as Google increasingly layers in social influences on search results.
• Knowledge of the footwear or apparel industry is preferred.
• Highly motivated to be self-sufficient and able to operate without close supervision.
• Outstanding written/oral, organizational, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
