Role Description
Our client is looking for a Meta Social Media Strategist to own the Facebook and Instagram strategy across both paid and organic social for a portfolio of healthcare clients. Working alongside a dedicated Meta Media Buyer, designers, and an in-house production team, you'll lead the strategy, shape the creative direction, and ensure every campaign delivers measurable business results. This role is perfect for someone with extensive experience helping Australian, US, or UK businesses generate qualified leads through Meta, who enjoys combining creative thinking with data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced agency environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Meta Strategy & Performance

Own the Meta strategy (paid and organic) across a portfolio of healthcare clients.

Develop audience strategies, messaging frameworks, funnel architecture, and content pillars aligned with client goals.

Build testing roadmaps and continuously refine strategies using performance insights.

Identify opportunities where paid and organic activity can strengthen each other.

Stay ahead of Meta platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging features.

Organic Social Management
-
Plan and manage monthly Facebook and Instagram content calendars.

Write engaging, conversion-focused social copy tailored to healthcare audiences.

Guide community engagement strategies that reflect each client's brand.

Analyse engagement, reach, follower growth, and content performance to improve results.

Paid Media Strategy

Provide strategic direction to the Meta Media Buyer on:

Review campaign performance and recommend optimisation opportunities.

Ensure paid and organic campaigns work together across the customer journey.

Escalate strategic recommendations and performance risks to the Marketing Manager.

Creative Leadership

Develop original campaign concepts based on audience insights and performance data.

Write high-converting video scripts, ad hooks, and creative concepts for Meta campaigns.

Brief designers, videographers, and photographers with clear creative direction.

Collaborate with the production team from concept through final delivery.

Review creative assets before publication to ensure they're strategically aligned and optimised for Meta.

Continuously improve creative based on campaign results.

Ensure all advertising complies with healthcare marketing regulations and Meta policies.

Reporting & Communication

Develop integrated paid and organic Meta reporting.

Present actionable performance insights and recommendations to the Marketing Manager.

Contribute to client reporting and strategy presentations.

Proactively identify opportunities and potential risks before they impact performance.

Process & Systems

Build and maintain efficient content planning and campaign workflows.

Develop SOPs for Meta strategy and content processes.

Keep documentation organised to support collaboration across the team.
Qualifications

5+ years of experience managing Facebook and Instagram marketing.

Proven agency experience servicing Australian, US, or UK clients.

Experience managing multiple client accounts in a fast-paced agency environment.

Strong experience marketing high-ticket service businesses that rely on lead generation, such as healthcare, medical, dental, cosmetic, professional services, or similar industries.

Demonstrated success creating Meta strategies that generate qualified leads and measurable business outcomes.

Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.

Experience writing conversion-focused ad copy, video scripts, and creative briefs.

Experience leading creative direction for designers, videographers, and photographers.
Requirements

Expert knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Business Manager, Pixel, and Conversion API.

Strong understanding of Meta's paid and organic ecosystem.

Experience planning creative for Reels, Stories, Feed Ads, and other Meta placements.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn campaign data into actionable strategy.

Familiarity with project management and content planning tools.
