[Hiring] Senior Product Marketing Manager @Tractian

Role Description

The Tractian Marketing team bridges the gap between our products and the technical audiences we serve. Product Marketing sits close to Product, Sales, Growth, and Customer teams to define how our technology is positioned, understood, and sold.

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will help define how Tractian is understood, positioned, and sold across acquisition and customer growth. Your job is to turn complexity into a sharp commercial story that connects product capabilities to the operational and financial outcomes customers care about.

You will own a meaningful part of our go-to-market foundation, from positioning and value propositions to how we package the story for different buyers, markets, and stages of the customer journey.

You will stay close to real revenue conversations and bring those signals back into the business.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve product positioning, messaging, and value propositions.
• Define the messaging Sales uses across the buying journey, including talk tracks, value drivers, proof points, objection handling, and executive narratives.
• Help shape go-to-market architecture, including how products and capabilities are packaged, sequenced, and introduced to different customer groups.
• Analyze sales calls, deal data, win and loss patterns, customer feedback, competitive signals, and market shifts.
• Make us meaningfully better in competitive deals.
• Bring market, customer, and competitive evidence back into Product early enough to matter.
• Adapt global positioning and go-to-market strategy to regional realities.
• Create the commercial assets needed to make the strategy usable.
• Track how new capabilities are understood and used after launch.
• Support product launches by developing messaging and positioning that promote new features.
• Move quickly from insight to execution using AI as a force multiplier.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Solution Marketing, GTM Strategy, or a closely related B2B discipline.
• Strong experience with complex B2B or technical products.
• Evidence of shaping positioning, go-to-market strategy, or sales behavior.
• Excellent positioning and messaging judgment.
• Strong commercial instinct and analytical discipline.
• Experience contributing to go-to-market decisions.
• Strong cross-functional judgment.
• Strong hands-on execution.
• High curiosity.
• Strong AI fluency.
• Strong English for daily collaboration.

Bonus Points

• Experience in industrial technology, manufacturing, hardware and software, IoT, or another technical B2B category.
• Experience owning or materially improving competitive intelligence.
• Experience using conversation-intelligence tools such as Gong.
• Experience with customer expansion motions, cross-sell or upsell.
