[Hiring] Senior Media Planner, Performance @Finn Partners

Role Description

As a Senior Media Planner, Performance, you will strive to understand your clients' businesses and any challenges they face, and develop new ways to help them drive their business forward. You will plan and build paid advertising campaigns on various digital platforms, whether that's driving conversions or launching awareness and consideration campaigns. Your daily tasks include:

• Media planning
• Ad-buying
• Campaign trafficking
• Optimizing performance
• Reporting

You will also be responsible for leading client relationships, including reporting calls and strategy meetings. You will partner with the Brand Media team to build every plan as one connected system and provide dotted-line guidance to Associate Media Planners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
• 3-4 years of advertising or media agency experience, with hands-on performance media management
• Strong math and analytical skills
• A creative and innovative thinker
• A track record of gaining trust and respect through sound judgment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform under tight deadlines
• Experience guiding or reviewing the work of junior planners a plus

Requirements

• G Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides), Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Paid search platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising)
• Self-serve social media platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, Snapchat, X)
• Familiarity with programmatic buying platforms such as DV360 or The Trade Desk
• Google Marketing Platform (Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio)
• Proficiency with FINN's reporting and dashboard platforms, including Ninjacat and Funnel
• Familiarity with AI tools used across the agency, including Gemini, OpenAI, Copilot, and Claude
• Familiarity with audience research and competitive intelligence platforms such as GWI and MediaRadar
• Working knowledge of brand media channels (CTV/streaming, audio, OOH, partnerships)
• Ability to conduct critical analysis and identify key insights
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills
• Proactive and self-motivated
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Solid project management and organizational skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
