Role Description
Skillsoft is seeking an experienced Sr. Marketing Operations Manager, Process + AI to develop and oversee the implementation of an agentic AI roadmap for the marketing organization. You will identify, prioritize, and scale high-impact AI capabilities that improve how marketing plans, executes, and measures work.

Key Responsibilities

AI Use Case Strategy & Roadmap
-
Own the marketing agentic AI roadmap end-to-end.

Identify, define, and shape the highest-priority AI use cases for marketing.

Define and apply frameworks for assessing the scaled value and impact of AI capabilities.

Distinguish between highly controlled, workflow-driven AI use cases and exploratory applications.

Solutions Framing & Technical Partnership
-
Act as the strategic bridge between marketing teams and internal/external technical partners.

Pressure-test proposed solutions for feasibility, durability, and long-term relevance.

Stay ahead of AI innovations and identify how marketing adopts new capabilities.

Process Design & Governance
-
Design, document, and govern marketing processes and standards.
-
Establish and run AI project governance for marketing.

Own documentation and lifecycle management for marketing AI and operational processes.

Change Management & Enablement
-
Champion change management, enablement, and adoption for new agentic capabilities.

Shape AI-powered workflows that feel intuitive and purposeful.
-
Develop playbooks, enablement materials, and working examples.
-
Establish feedback loops with end users.

Future-Facing Perspective

Maintain a forward-looking view of emerging AI capabilities.

Exercise sound judgment about when new capabilities are ready to be tested.
Qualifications
-
10+ years of professional experience in marketing operations with a focus on process and technology.
-
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field.
-
Proven experience in marketing operations, business systems, process optimization, agent delivery, and governance.

Strong understanding of how marketing teams work and where inefficiencies exist.

Prior experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, Asana, HockeyStack, and/or 6Sense.

Demonstrated ability to translate between business needs and technical teams.
-
Comfort operating in ambiguity with sound judgment.
-
Curiosity and confidence to explore new technologies, especially agentic AI and automation.

Recent experience establishing lightweight governance models for AI/MarTech work.
-
Experience in change management and guiding teams through transitions.

Exceptional communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Requirements

Target base salary range is approximately $145,000 - $155,000 annualized.
