Role Description
Instacart is the leading online grocery company in Canada, serving 98% of households across 10 provinces and 100 retail banners. The grocery delivery category is competitive and growing rapidly, and this role is responsible for building Instacart’s brand and business in Canada.
We're looking for a Senior Marketing Manager II to own consumer marketing for Canada. You will be responsible for:

Developing the marketing strategy and owning execution across integrated campaigns, local content, and partnerships.

Working closely with brand, media, creative, CRM, and agency partners to drive measurable outcomes.

Executing the marketing strategy as the single DRI in partnership with cross-functional teams and agencies.

Owning Canada brand partnerships and agency relationships, including supporting existing relationships and recommending new opportunities.

Informing Instacart’s Canadian brand and business growth with deep consumer, category, and competitive insights.

Owning the Canadian influencer program that produces local, engaging content that fuels performance.

Ensuring that campaigns and content reaching Canadian consumers are accurate, culturally relevant, and on brand.

Managing Canada monthly marketing budget tracking with precision.
Qualifications

10+ years of progressive experience in brand marketing and integrated campaign marketing with a strong focus on strategy and execution, preferably within a US-based consumer tech company navigating Canada as a distinct market.

A proven ability to develop marketing strategy, translating business goals into compelling brand narratives and breakthrough campaigns.

Deep fluency in brand and campaign marketing mechanics.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting and defending strategy to VP and C-suite stakeholders.

Deep understanding of Canadian culture and market nuance, including regional differences across the country and experience reaching consumers in Quebec.

A natural collaborator who excels at building consensus and leading diverse cross-functional teams towards shared goals.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience.

Base pay range for a successful candidate is dependent on their permanent work location.

For Canadian based candidates, the base pay ranges are CAD $163,000 — $172,000.
