Role Description

The Sr. Marketing Event and Tradeshow Specialist supports the planning, coordination, and execution of bioMérieux North America tradeshows, conferences, and marketing events. Working under the direction of the Tradeshow Manager or Marketing leadership, this role assists with event logistics, vendor coordination, registration management, exhibit support, and onsite event activities to help ensure successful event execution and positive customer experiences.

This role collaborates with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support event objectives, maintain project timelines, and execute established event processes. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment. This position serves as an individual contributor focused on operational execution rather than program leadership, strategy development, or technology ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years experience planning and executing tradeshows, conferences, or corporate events.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing events from initial planning through onsite execution and post-event evaluation.
• Strong knowledge of tradeshow operations, exhibit management, registration, lead capture, vendors, contractors, and onsite logistics.
• Experience managing multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with event technology platforms such as Cvent or similar event management systems.
• Familiarity with lead retrieval, meeting scheduling, attendee engagement, event apps, surveys, and event reporting.
• Comfortable working with event data and using insights to improve event performance.
• Strong project management, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across a complex, cross-functional organization.
