Role Description
As Seer's founding Demand Generation hire, you'll be the person who opens the doors, building genuine relationships with the right people before they're in a buying cycle. You're consultative enough to hold an executive-level conversation about digital marketing without backup, resourceful enough to build your own playbook, and grounded enough to clean your own HubSpot data. You're not chasing volume. You're chasing fit. And you're energized by the idea of building a new function within a 20+ year old brand. Reporting to the Director of Marketing.
Role Highlights

Pipeline & Account Development:
-
Identify and engage high-fit accounts using HubSpot, LinkedIn, and other tools.

Build relationship maps across target organizations.

Create personalized outreach that reflects a real understanding of a prospect's business.

Develop a program from scratch with the support of marketing leadership.
-
Focus on value-driven engagement rather than cold calls or mass sequences.
-
Maintain enough pipeline coverage to consistently deliver quality SQLs (first meetings) against your targets.

Consultative Relationship Building:

Develop early-stage relationships with senior marketing and digital leaders.
-
Hold credible conversations about SEO, paid media, analytics, and AI.
-
Know when to bring in the BizDev team and make that handoff feel natural.

Help shape what a great warm introduction looks like at Seer.

Campaign Activation & Events:
-
Work with the marketing team to turn Seer's thought leadership, webinars, and events into real demand.

Have an activation plan ready for Seer releases and webinars.
-
Attend and represent Seer at industry conferences to build meaningful relationships.

CRM & Data Operations:
-
Own data and operational infrastructure in HubSpot.

Develop data quality standards and identify operational workflows that will scale this function.

Messaging & Market Intelligence:

Test messaging in the field and synthesize what's resonating.
-
Inform how Seer talks about itself and contribute to positioning work.
Qualifications
-
5+ years in demand generation, growth marketing, outbound business development, or sales enablement.

Direct exposure to digital marketing services or an agency environment.

Proven ability to build relationship-driven pipeline from scratch.

Digital marketing fluency: understanding of SEO, paid media, analytics, and AI.

Agency, consultancy, or startup experience strongly preferred.

CRM (HubSpot) proficiency: list building, data hygiene, pipeline tracking.

Ability to carry a conversation with a CMO and enjoy building connections.

Self-directed and highly autonomous, comfortable setting your own agenda.

Collaborative with internal teams to build a well-rounded approach.

Comfortable with ambiguity and excited to help shape a role.
-
Measure success in quality outcomes (first meetings, pipeline created).

Excited to apply AI tools to your workflow: research, outreach, data analysis, content creation.
30/60/90 Day Goals

Audit and clean Seer's HubSpot ICP data and establish a repeatable process for ongoing hygiene.
-
Develop your first outbound ABM target list with prioritized accounts and a clear go-to-market rationale.

Activate at least one demand gen motion tied to an existing Seer content or events asset.

Build strong working relationships with marketing, BD, and SMEs to understand how Seer sells and delivers.
-
Propose a first definition of what a quality SQL looks like at Seer, and track toward it.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: 100-125k
-
Performance bonus paid out quarterly based on agreed upon KPIs.

Final offered compensation will be determined by skills and experience.
