[Hiring] Senior Events Marketing Manager @Keyfactor, Inc.

Role Description

The Senior Events Marketing Manager will lead the development, management, and execution of major industry global events that elevate our brand, build pipeline, and engage our target audience in cybersecurity. In this role, you will drive business outcomes through global events, a component of Keyfactor’s marketing strategy. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing major sponsorships, hosting events, and overseeing key corporate initiatives such as Sales Kickoffs (SKO) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR).
• Driving alignment with business objectives and delivering exceptional attendee experiences.

This is a remote position open to candidates located in the East or Central regions of the United States or Canada. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive event strategy aligned with marketing and sales objectives, covering global trade shows, conferences, and company-hosted events.
• Plan and execute key corporate events, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering exceptional attendee experiences.
• Own end-to-end planning and execution of Keyfactor’s flagship customer conference.
• Manage end-to-end event logistics including vendor relationships, budgets, contracts, staffing plans, and timelines.
• Develop pre-event and post-event communications, including “Know Before You Go” guides, staff and speaker training, and attendee follow-up plans.
• Establish and track event KPIs to measure ROI and inform future strategy.
• Build scalable event processes, playbooks, and documentation to drive consistency and efficiency.
• Lead workstreams across Content, Sales, Sponsorship, Brand, Demand Generation, and Customer Marketing.
• Ensure booth design, collateral, and digital assets deliver a cohesive brand presence.
• Define success metrics, analyze performance data, and provide actionable insights.
• Ensure every event reflects Keyfactor’s brand and mission.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of event management experience within the cybersecurity, cloud, or data industries.
• Expertise in B2B buyer journeys, lead generation, and Account-Based Marketing strategies for events.
• Self-starter who can work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
• Customer-focused with a strong instinct for creating high-impact, memorable attendee experiences.
• Proficiency in event and marketing technology (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Asana).
• Strong program management skills, including the ability to build and manage integrated master project plans.
• Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment.
• Executive presence with exceptional communication skills.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges.
• A bachelor’s degree in marketing, event planning, or a related field.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
