Role Description
The Senior Director โ Marketing is responsible for leading the execution and performance of marketing programs that drive pipeline growth, strengthen partner alignment, and support the firmโs Microsoft-based professional services. This role operates as a player-coach, translating go-to-market strategy into actionable campaigns and initiatives in close partnership with sales, partnerships, and delivery teams.
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this leader owns the marketing function with guidance from executive leadership and plays a critical role in activating joint motions with Microsoft and Cognizant, enabling solution marketing, and ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across all marketing efforts.
In alignment with 3Cloudโs leadership expectations, this role contributes to firm-wide strategy, influences cross-functional priorities, and drives measurable business outcomes through marketing excellence.
Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Execution Management

Lead and develop a team of marketing professionals in a player-coach capacity

Oversee execution across internal teams and external agencies to ensure quality and consistency

Drive accountability, prioritization, and continuous improvement across marketing efforts

Performance Measurement & Budget Management

Own marketing performance metrics, including pipeline contribution, campaign effectiveness, and ROI

Manage budget allocation across programs and channels, optimizing for efficiency and impact

Provide regular insights and recommendations to revenue leadership

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Marketing Operations

Serve as a connector across marketing, partnerships, sales, and enablement to ensure aligned execution

Partner with adjacent teams in 3Cloud and Cognizant to deliver cohesive and effective campaigns

Support core marketing operations, including processes, tools, and reporting cadence

Ensure practical application of brand standards across marketing deliverables

Go-to-Market Execution & Channel Alignment

Execute go-to-market plans aligned to Microsoft services, priority industries, and sales plays in partnership with revenue leadership

Collaborate with Microsoft and Cognizant channel teams to activate joint campaigns, co-sell motions, and marketplace opportunities

Align marketing programs to partner priorities and field engagement models to maximize pipeline impact

Partner with sales, partnerships, and delivery teams to deliver coordinated, market-facing initiatives

Solution Marketing

Translate offerings into clear, differentiated messaging, positioning, and value propositions

Develop collateral, use cases, and sales enablement materials to support pipeline generation and deal progression

Support packaging and promotion of services aligned to Microsoft and key industry verticals

Ensure consistency and clarity of solution messaging across all channels and campaigns

Event Strategy & Execution

Lead strategy and execution of events (partner-led, hosted, and industry) to drive pipeline and strengthen partner relationships

Align event investments to the priorities of Microsoft, Cognizant, and sales

Measure event ROI and incorporate insights into future planning

Demand Generation & Campaign Execution
-
Lead execution of multi-channel campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and qualified pipeline

Support account-based marketing efforts aligned to enterprise account priorities and territory strategies
-
Track, analyze, and optimize campaign performance based on pipeline contribution and conversion metrics

Operationalize repeatable campaign motions and GTM plays to support solution and industry growth
Qualifications

10+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably within technology, cloud, or professional services
-
Bachelorโs degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
-
Experience supporting consulting or services-based organizations strongly preferred

Demonstrated experience in people management and managing teams in a matrixed environment

Proven ability to execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive pipeline in partnership with sales

Experience working within partner ecosystems (e.g., Microsoft, Cognizant, or similar alliances)

Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills in a matrixed environment
-
Experience in solution marketing, including messaging, positioning, and sales enablement
-
Proficiency with marketing analytics, CRM, and automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo)

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive execution in a fast-paced environment

Base Salary Range: $138,800 โ $208,200 USD
