Role Description

The Sr. Director, Market Access Strategic Marketing is an instrumental role responsible for the development, implementation, management, and execution of a coordinated, strategic marketing plan and related tactics, deliverables, and customer-specific access activities.

• Lead a team to ensure alignment with the Market Access field teams in support of current and future indications for the BeOne Medicines Portfolio.
• Develop a team to ensure an advanced understanding of overall market access customer needs.
• Create and refine appropriate personal/non-personal marketing programs for various account teams.
• Drive collaboration across the BeOne commercial and medical organization including HEOR, Medical Affairs, Brand Marketing, Legal & Regulatory, and Commercial Operations & Business Analytics teams.
• Ensure Market Access Strategy and Execution is appropriately represented within brand teams.
• Liaise with Field Account Sales/Sales Leadership to identify opportunities for team synergies and assess individual program effectiveness.

Essential Functions for this Position:

• Contributes to the overall development and implementation of Brand’s value propositions, access strategy and payer/systems marketing.
• Acts as primary point of contact with agencies, vendors, and/or 3rd party consultants.
• Coalesces field and customer access insights to refine and advance segment-specific value propositions.
• Contributes to the development and attainment of key metrics for payer, reimbursement and systems-level account access strategies.
• Identifies and capitalizes on strategic opportunities to best position products.
• Acts as a thought partner in areas of payer, provider reimbursement and organized customer account market access strategies.
• Holds understanding of the complex and evolving market access landscape and challenges.
• Thorough understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and other ethical guidelines relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of broad biotech/pharma experience, including product launch(es).
• Minimum of 4 years oncology and/or rare disease, and competitive product launch experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced degree and training appreciated.
• Market access experience with payers, plans, PBMs, health systems, IDNs, large community oncology practices, and/or Group Purchasing Organizations strongly desired.
