Role Description

The Senior Director, Digital & AI will play a key role by delivering hands-on, high-quality work while contributing to the agency’s digital, omnichannel, and AI strategies. This role is responsible for executing client-facing and internal initiatives, ensuring seamless project delivery, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Lead the tactical execution of omnichannel and digital marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the VP and internal teams to drive digital innovation.
  • Ensure alignment of omnichannel and digital strategies with client goals.
  • Oversee the implementation of omnichannel and digital solutions.
  • Implement omnichannel and digital strategies that address healthcare-specific challenges.
  • Ensure data-driven approaches by utilizing key data sources.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of digital platforms and AI technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal and client teams to execute strategies.
  • Leverage AI technologies to enhance healthcare marketing strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for AI optimization within client campaigns.
  • Oversee hands-on management of digital advertising and omnichannel campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Assist in the development of KPI frameworks to track campaign performance.
  • Utilize analytics and data-driven insights to continuously optimize campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign data, delivering detailed analytics reports.
  • Work closely with other internal teams to align strategic initiatives.
  • Support operational excellence by ensuring seamless execution of projects.
  • Be an excellent communicator with superior soft skills.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff.
  • Foster collaboration across digital, medical, marketing, and creative teams.
  • Assist in client-facing activities, offering strategic insights.
  • Work alongside the VP to identify opportunities for organic growth.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience working in a pharmaceutical marketing agency.
  • Strong experience with CRM systems, such as Veeva and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, including HIPAA and FDA compliance.
  • A proven leader with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess generative AI prompting skills (no data science required).

Requirements

  • Hands-on involvement in developing omnichannel and digital strategies for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device clients.
  • Understanding of analytics tools like Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
